Medical Coding Certification Through AHIMA
Medical coders help streamline the communication and record-keeping processes in the healthcare system. They translate physicians' notes, diagnoses, and procedures into medical codes and input them into patient record systems, streamlining the process for medical professionals to access and share information. The medical coding field offers many different careers, including those that require specialized knowledge and certifications. Coding certifications can lead to additional employment opportunities and higher earnings as well. According to AAPC, certified coders earn an average of $14,000 more per year than those without certifications.

This class will run once a week for 35 weeks.
Medical Billing Certification Through NHA
You will understand various types of insurance plans. You will be an expert in applying payer policy, Local Coverage Determinations (LCDs), and National Coverage Determinations (NCDs) for successful claim submissions. Have Knowledge of CPT®, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS Level II coding guidelines. Successful navigation of healthcare industry rules and regulations, including HIPAA, False Claims Act, Fair Debt Collections Act, and Stark Law. An understanding of the life cycle of a medical billing claim and how to improve the revenue cycle. Expertise in effective claim follow-up, patient follow-up, and denial resolution.

Medical Billing Class Price: $1500.
This class will run once a week for 22 weeks.
Payments:
When you signed a contract for the class $300 is due. The cost of your books is due 30 days before the class starts. Balance can be paid in full before class starts or you can set a payment plan to pay the balance monthly with the payment due on the 5th of the month. The payment plans can be for four or six-month periods. The $300 will come off the total balance.
You will receive an invoice via square with your balance due upon signing. We will coordinate with you via email to confirm which payment plan you prefer.
Those who pay their balance upfront will receive a 5% discount.
